Judd Stephenson has spent his entire professional career at Avon Oaks Country Club. Starting in 1990 as an assistant golf pro, Judd became the club's PGA Golf Professional in the mid-1990s and in 2007 became the Clubhouse Manager, as well. Established in 1960, Avon Oaks Country Club is one of the finest country clubs in the area, and offers its membership a variety of year 'round activities. Avon Oaks Country Club is a private country club providing its members with a wealth of activities and accommodations for their relaxation and entertainment. We offer golf, swimming, tennis, fitness, casual and formal dining, banquet and meeting facilities, and family activities, and hosts over thirty planned social events annually. We are a family oriented club with something for everyone, and we offer different levels of membership tailored to fit our members' varied lifestyles.

We pride ourselves on our 6,700 yard championship par 72 18-hole golf course that is one of the most enjoyable and challenging in Northern Ohio. Defined by many oak trees, narrow fairways, and lightening fast greens, our professionally designed course easily accommodates the beginning golfer while challenging the more skilled player. Our greens are very consistently in great shape, running between eleven and twelve on the stimpmeter, and the course record is 63. Our members, their families, and guests have access to the course Tuesday through Sunday, and Mondays we host golf outings for non-member businesses and organizations.

Surrounded by 200 acres of beautifully landscaped and maintained grounds, our 30,000 square foot clubhouse includes our banquet, dining, and meeting facilities, in addition to boasting a fitness center with cardiovascular equipment and weight stations, a swimming pool with locker rooms and steam rooms, and four Har-Tru tennis courts. We have a special wing for children complete with its own snack shop, kitchen, locker room, game room, and restrooms.

Our catering and banquet facilities are open to the public and are frequently booked for events ranging from wedding receptions to baby showers, fashion shows, business meetings, and other special occasions. Our 6,000 square foot Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views features two fully equipped bars and can accommodate up to 300 guests for receptions and 400 people for business seminars. The Oak room on the second floor has a fireplace, couches, and chairs, and holds up to 72 guests for smaller bridal and baby showers, wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and birthday and anniversary parties. Our Avon Room and the 1st Tee hold 16 and 12 guests respectively, and have full dining options.
