The Connelly Landscaping Co. was founded by Ed Connelly in 1972. Ed's son Tim, Mike Walters, and Bill Becks met while attending Ohio State University, and all three worked together at The Connelly Landscaping Co. during the early to mid-1980s. When Ed retired in 2005, Tim, Mike, and Bill purchased the company and became partners in what has become known as one of Ohio's finest landscape firms. We met with Mike recently, and listened as he provided this overview of Connelly Landscaping's services;

The Connelly Landscaping Co. is a full-service design/build landscaping company specializing in providing the highest quality service in the design, installation, construction, and maintenance of landscapes. As a design/build company, we meet with our customers personally to learn their wants, needs, and preferences, then use that knowledge to custom design a master plan tailored specifically to their individual situation. Not only do we take every project seriously, we also put a lot of heart into each project as we have designed it from the ground up. Many of our customers choose to have their project completed in phases which enables them to spread the cost over a number of years. As we continue to work closely with them, we build a valuable relationship where we become intimately familiar with their goals and preferences, and our customers develop a deep level of trust in our abilities and appreciate our attentiveness to their needs. These relationships have enabled us to enjoy a very high retention rate of 89% of our existing clients.

Another portion of our business is providing our customers with the ongoing, professional maintenance that is essential in preserving their landscape investment. The maintenance services we offer include edging beds, selective pruning, planting colorful annual flowers, mulching, and leaf removal.

The Connelly Landscaping Co. enjoys many unique advantages in the landscaping industry. First, we have an eighteen acre facility we lovingly refer to as "The Farm" with between five and six acres dedicated to growing our own nursery stock. This gives us total control over our inventory, the type of plants we have available, and the quality of maintenance our plants receive while they are growing. Secondly, we have many employees who have been with us since the very beginning, including our Nursery Manager, one of our crew leaders, and our General Manager who have each been here over twenty-five years.
