Cynthia (Cindy) Rimko, PT graduated from college in 1992 with a degree in physical therapy. She began her career working in hospitals where she not only honed her physical therapy skills, but also obtained experience in business management. In October 2005, Cindy opened her own practice with founding of Let's Get Physical Therapy. Let's Get Physical Therapy is a physical therapy practice offering treatment for patients from newborns through their golden years. My youngest patient was twenty-four hours old and my oldest patient was 103 years of age. We provide physical therapy services in our offices, local retirement centers, and in-home for patients who are homebound. We treat personal injuries, back injuries, and injuries sustained through sports participation and automobile accidents.

All of our treatments are performed one-on-one with a physical therapist to provide consistent care by a therapist familiar with your case. When you come in you receive the undivided attention of a physical therapist throughout your thirty to forty-five minute session. By seeing the same physical therapist each time you come in, you are ensured of receiving a treatment plan that has been custom designed to address your individualized, specific needs and one that can be adjusted or advanced easily each session based on the patient's presentation. Most of our patients are either in pain or at least very apprehensive about what might be happening to their body, so we strive to provide a very relaxed environment where they can feel comfortable while their therapist addresses their needs.

We also offer a post-physical therapy fitness program. For example, when a woman comes in for physical therapy to treat lower back pain during pregnancy, she is also able to come in after her baby is born to use our equipment to relieve the discomfort and weakness she may be feeling after childbirth. One of the benefits is that although you are not working with a therapist one-on-one at that point, there is a physical therapist available to answer questions and explain how to work the machines. It provides the opportunity to utilize our equipment during business hours from one to five times each week.

We offer Pilates group and individualized classes on the mats and the reformers. All of the exercises in Pilates are core exercises designed to improve the function of your abdominal muscles, thighs, buttocks, back, and your pelvic floor to stabilize you so you can move your arms, legs, hips, and knees effectively. We perform exercises for people experiencing weak muscles and pain, and by the time the one hour class is over they may feel much better, enjoy more flexibility, or have less pain in their extremities.
