Robert D. McFarland began working with electricity during his Navy days in the 1960s. After being discharged from the service, he was employed as an electrician by Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (CEI) for twenty-two years while doing heating and air conditioning repair on the side. After Bob retired from CEI, he founded McFarland Heating & Cooling Plus in 1994 where he utilizes his many years of experience to provide Cleveland's Westshore residents with expert heating and air conditioning service at reasonable prices. McFarland Heating & Cooling Plus specializes in duct cleaning and the installation and repair of residential heating, air conditioning, and hydronics units. By nature I prefer to repair things rather than replace them, and over the years I have taught myself to repair the older equipment, the newer units, and everything in between. I am licensed by the State of Ohio, and have serviced Cleveland's west side all the way from Medina to Vermilion.

I really enjoy meeting and working with people and take pride in providing them with expert, honest service at reasonable prices. If a job takes longer than I planned, I don't charge my customer for the extra hours. Instead, I simply charge what I feel the job should be worth. Many contractors charge their customers $75.00 for a service call to diagnose the problem, but with my experience I can almost always find the problem within half an hour and pass the savings along to my customers.

I strive to keep my prices as reasonable as possible, and will often take my car on smaller jobs rather than paying the increased cost involved in taking a fully loaded truck to the job site. I do everything I can to save money for my customers, including providing discounts for senior citizens.
