Achieving Maximum Fitness in Minimum Time
|
|
Jeffrey Tomaszewski and Josh Trentine met while working for University Hospital Systems. Jeffrey left University Hospital Systems to become the Athletic Trainer at Case Western Reserve while studying for mis Master's Degree. Josh meanwhile began providing personal training for three therapy clients out of his home. As Jeffrey was approaching graduation, Josh's business had grown to the point that he had to either stop taking new clients or move his business to a larger commercial facility. Josh and Jeffrey combined forces and opened Overload Fitness in Beachwood, Ohio on November 1, 2004, and in mid 2007 opened a second location in Westlake, Ohio. We met with Jeffrey recently, and listened as he provided this overview of Overload Fitness' services and offerings;
Overload Fitness offers a high intensity/low force total body strength training program. With our scientifically advanced exercise system and equipment you will reach your maximum fitness in less than one hour of exercise a week. We provide our clients with the most time efficient and productive high intensity strength training, nutritional consulting, and post-rehabilitation experience possible in the most clinically controlled, state-of-the art facilities in the industry.
Overload Fitness is not your traditional personal training facility or gym. We offer personalized one-on-one training in a clinically controlled, distraction-free environment. We have no music, mirrors, or loud clients or instructors to detract from your mental focus. Our facility is constantly maintained at 62°F to provide a sweat-free workout. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment engineered to provide low friction and match normal human muscle/joint function. This low-force protocol is designed to maintain constant tension of your muscular system, which in turn drives your cardiovascular system, skeletal system, endocrine system, and your body's hormones. We work into true muscular fatigue by moving from machine to machine to machine with no rest in between. Our goal is to momentarily weaken the muscular area as much as possible in 25-30 minutes. The Overload principle simply state that you have to encounter a stimulus slightly above your norm in order to change and adapt.
All of our equipment is very specific to our protocol. We use state-of-the-art equipment from both North America and Europe, and are the only company in the United States to use this unique combination of equipment. MEDX is the top exercise equipment manufacturer in the United States and has been a leader in rehabilitation and strength training since 1986. DAVID is a German company built on initiative, quality, and integral thinking, and is dedicate to improvements in muscular strength and workout efficiency. The core of the David "Back Concept" consists of computer based-measuring and exercise devices, and the patented David Hip Lock System provides valid and reliable measurements in the area of the spine. DAVID is the line used in the Beijing Olympic Training Center, and we are the only facility in the United States that carries the complete line of DAVID equipment.
Simply stated, the results from exercise come from the quality not the quantity of exercise, the intensity with which you work and not from how many sets or repetitions you perform, the duration of your workout, or how frequently you train. This is why current popular exercise recommendations never seem to get you to your ultimate fitness goals. In contrast, less than sixty minutes each week at Overload Fitness will enable you to sustain fat loss, increase lean mass, improve functional ability, and increase your metabolic rate. You will have more energy while enjoying increased cardiovascular fitness, less bone loss, and increased flexibility.
We offer complimentary, one hour consultations where we meet with prospective clients, review their physical history, and discuss their health and fitness needs and goals. Due to our background in physical therapy and sports medicine, we are able to address any orthopedic problems they might have, and develop a well rounded program that fits into their lifestyle and is specific to their individual situation.
It is one thing to hear all the great things Overload Fitness can do, but it is something else entirely to experience Overload Fitness for yourself. Call Overload Fitness today, and don't forget to tell them Avon, Ohio Business & Living
